The DOW SkillBridge program provides transitioning Service members with the opportunity to gain valuable civilian work experience through industry training, internships, apprenticeships, and job-training opportunities during the final 180 days of military service. The program connects Service members with participating employers, allowing them to develop new skills and explore career opportunities while still serving on active duty.With command approval, eligible Service members may participate full-time in an approved SkillBridge program during their transition from military to civilian life. Participants continue to receive their military pay and benefits throughout the program.As a DoD SkillBridge partner, Michels offers hands-on learning experiences that help Service members build industry knowledge, strengthen professional skills, and prepare for successful civilian careers.
