Overview of the Program:As a company that is focused on connecting the military community with meaningful career opportunities, RecruitMilitary is focused on staffing its open opportunities in Account Executive roles with recently transitioned veterans. The purpose of the RecruitMilitary Strategic Sales and Recruiting Internship program, under DOD SkillBridge, is to provide servicemembers transitioning from active duty to civilian careers with training for opportunities in business-to-business sales with RecruitMilitary as well as providing an overall familiarization with the inner workings of a military to civilian recruiting company that has more than 30 successful years in the industry. As a part of their training program, interns will also support the RecruitMilitary Candidate Success Program. This service is for transitioning soldiers and will provide support with all services offered via RM. Services include job board navigation and search tips, optimizing the candidate profile, using the one-click application feature, job application support and career fair registration. Additionally, all interns participate in a comprehensive 12-week professional development program which teaches resume writing, professional networking, interview preparation and much more. This element of the training empowers our interns with the employment skills required for long term professional success in the civilian workforce.

Description of Full Time Role:As a RecruitMilitary Account Executive you will prospect and close business with employers, staffing firms, advertising agencies, and other veteran friendly organizations. Account Executives focus their time on growing the RecruitMilitary Opportunity Expo line of business. Account Executives will primarily utilize phone prospecting and developed marketing techniques to create new relationships and close new business opportunities.You will prospect out of the RecruitMilitary Salesforce.com Customer Relationship Management (“CRM”) system with the objective of establishing yourself as the “go to” resource for organizations looking to attend expos as a way to hire talent from the military veteran niche. Target prospects will include, but not be limited to: C-Level decision makers at small and medium size companies, Vice Presidents of Sales/Marketing, Vice Presidents of Operations/Manufacturing, Vice Presidents of Technology, and Vice Presidents of HR at larger firms.
The DAV RecruitMilitary Recruiting Internship program is fully remote. The intern need only have a reliable internet connection and a dedicated workspace to participate. RecruitMilitary will provide a computer, camera, headset, VOIP telephone software, IT and technical support. Each intern is assigned a highly experienced industry mentor from within the company who will work one-on-one with them to refine their resume, develop the professional network, polish their social media presence and prepare them for the interview process. Our goal... 100 percent employment, either with RecruitMilitary or one of our 16,000 partner companies.

QualificationsRequired:• Active duty servicemember in transition eligible to participate in a DOD SkillBridge opportunity in accordance with DODI 1322.29.• Strong work ethic, self-motivation and the ability to work independently. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Preferred:• BA/BS or comparable military/work experience and demonstrated experience managing simultaneous projects• Experience in recruiting, human resources or career counseling roles.• Experience communicating complex information to multidisciplined audiences.• Previous experience in sales, marketing or business development.
