Job description:
Ramp Agent: Aircraft tugging, aircraft fueling, forklift operation, and freight handling including heavy lifting, and aircraft loading. Flight Coordinator: Pre-departure coordination between multiple departments involved in flight dispatch process, pre-departure weather evaluation and fight risk assessment, shared responsibility with Pilot in Command for dispatch decision, monitoring and supporting underway flights using satellite tracking and messaging, advising pilots of changes in weather and flight hazards.
Successful completion of this program will lead to an opportunity for permanent full-time employment at Alaska Air Transit, based on Merrill Field, Anchorage, Alaska
