Entry-level engineering internship position. Position is intended for someone with prior construction and/or engineering experience, but with minimal formal education.Ideal candidate will be seeking acceptance or already accepted to a university Civil Engineering program.Position is a hybrid of in-person training, which should be expected to be a minimum of 50% of the internship, and project execution which can be in-person and online.
Job description:
Entry-level Engineering Internship position.Candidate will receive in-person training on engineering principles, design codes, common material and manufacturer guidelines, and application of this knowledge to building design.Following initial training, candidate will work directly with Engineers and Drafters in-person or remotely.
Initial position begins in Pensacola, Florida and will be a minimum of 50% in-person. If candidate is hired after internship, position is 100% remote.
