Job description:
Infrastructure & Amenities:• Performs general tasks necessary to ensure proper working order and condition of park buildings, equipment, infrastructure, and amenities. Public & Staff Safety:• Promote the safety of park visitors and enforce Park rules and protect Park resources• Confers with local officials and law enforcement officers• Utilizes a two-way radio communications system. Customer Service:• Provide customer service by phone and in person and respond to public inquiries about park hours, accommodations, and reservations• Hosts visitors. Cash Handling:• Perform, cashier duties at Contact Station/Gift Shop; collect and account for fees for park admission and store purchases. Maintenance:• Perform general maintenance duties in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, landscaping, equipment operations, minor electrical, and other similar tasks. Water Compliance/Reporting:• Under direction, execute the daily activities necessary to ensure the safe operation of the water & wastewater operations at Buckskin Mountain/River Island• Records and completes all necessary reports concerning Buckskin Mountain/River Island Water & Wastewater operations• Documents, records, and submits records and reports within established requirements
This position will have the ability to work at various state-wide park location:Lake Havasu & ParkerSedona, Payson, Flagstaff, Cornville, & Camp VerdeBenson, Safford, Apache Junction, & Tucson
