Opportunity:The Leadership Development Program is a full time, paid training program that runs approx. 3-4months, depending on level of experience and industry knowledge. Participants receive practical on-the-job training in an operational environment under the direct supervision of an experienced Executive Director/CEO, Operation Manager and Lead Driver. Participants will be mentored by several proven leaders to gain a thorough understanding of our culture and core values, operating models, systems and what it will take to be a successful member of the Capstone Transportation team. The Leadership program will consist of hands-on training in all roles within an operation, shadowing operational leaders to learn our business model, and independent study of regulations and specific curriculum focused on becoming an exceptional operator. Participants are expected to take on projects and real responsibilities at their host operation and encouraged to identify opportunities and solutions as they master the fundamentals of our business.At the conclusion of the program, participants will have the basic knowledge of an operations manager for a Non-Emergency Transportation Company. You’ll learn how to handle and transport elderly passengers and passengers with disabilities. You’ll learn dispatching, fleet management and important safety processes. You’ll spend time reviewing budget’s, spend-downs, and Profit and Loss Statements. You’ll help expand on the operations culture and provide improved employee experiences and you’ll play a role in hiring, orienting and periodic reviews of new employees. Participants who successfully navigate the program may be extended an offer to join our organization as a driver, dispatcher, safety manager, operations manager or be offered to enter our CEO in Training program – a more in-depth training program that graduates participants to Executive Director of their own Capstone affiliated operation.
