LG&E and KU Energy LLC

This is an up to 180-day program that provides transitioning service members with professional training and hands-on experience in the civilian workforce. Any rank, enlisted or officer, may apply for SkillBridge. SkillBridge participants are not eligible for compensation from LG&E and KU, as they continue to receive military compensation and benefits as active-duty service members.

Career Skills Interns must be able to work efficiently and with a positive attitude and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment that requires adaptability to shifting priorities, a sense of urgency, and a commitment to excellence. Ability to pay attention to detail is essential. Participates or leads projects and work assignments across departments. Ability to utilize effective communication and problem-solving skills to efficiently identify issues, concerns and interests and provide effective solutions. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively.

No prerequisite eligibility requirements
