Turion Space was formed with the vision of building the technology required for humanity's interplanetary future. To achieve this goal, Turion Space is building low-earth-orbit spacecraft performing two core missions: space domain awareness and in-space mobility and logistics. Turion Space is on track to launch two on-orbit demonstrations in June 2023 and June 2024 - both on Falcon 9 Transporter missions. Turion Space has been awarded numerous Space Force contracts to develop its core technology stack. The Contracts Specialist will be responsible for managing the execution of awarded contracts, ensuring that all deliverables and requirements are being met. This includes overseeing the contractual aspects of various projects, from the initial bid stage through to the final delivery and payment stages. The Contracts Specialist will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and clients to ensure that all aspects of the contracts are being fulfilled, and any issues or discrepancies are resolved in a timely and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities- Read government solicitations and awarded contracts, and fully understand contract requirements- Build and maintain accurate records and documentation related to contract execution and performance- Collaborate with company management and engineering teams to ensure that contractual obligations are understood and being met- Coordinate with team leads in ensuring all deliverables and requirements are being met throughout contract period of performance- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to contract performance, billing, or payment- Familiarity with government invoicing systems (preferred but not required) Minimum Qualifications- 2-5 years of contract/project management experience- Must have exposure to Government Proposals and Contracts- Outstanding cross-functional collaboration skills- Strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously- Ability to self-manage and meet deadlines
