KMEA is seeking a person with an engineering or construction background to fill a Construction Inspector position at Vandenberg SFB CA. The position is full-time exempt with full benefits.

Works across a broad range of disciplines to include civil, electrical, and mechanical systems. Key responsibilities: Performs Title II construction inspection and oversight. Provides design review and suggestions for correcting errors. Reviews material, equipment, and commissioning submittals. Supports construction contractor Requests-For-Information. Notifies the Contracting Officer (CO) and COR of critical issues that may affect the contract performance and/or human health and the environment. Follows company safety standards and site safety standards. Understands and adheres to company policies. Provides photographs and maintains daily log of construction activities. Performs most assignments independently but consults with others and receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems. Plans work and meets deadlines without supervisor action

All work takes place on DoD installation in support of IDIQ contract
