In this SkillBridge opportunity, participants will first begin their on-boarding, online training, and certifications. They will then shadow a Lead Technician on an active job site with maintenance projects. Once the participant has demonstrated their knowledge and understanding for their role, they will be given more responsibility on the maintenance project. It is our hopes that the participant accepts a full time position with us after the SkillBridge program is over.
Job description:
Reliable Precision Alignment (RPA) is a veteran-owned material handling and facilities repair company that works across the U.S.In this role, you will be assembling, decommissioning, and repairing conveyor systems and facilities assets in large distribution warehouses (i.e. Amazon Warehouses). Working hours vary based on the workload and season, but due to the nature of the business, work could be throughout the night, on weekends, and anywhere from one day to multiple weeks long. This is a physically demanding position with 80% travel.
Technicians receive a base pay, plus overtime. All travel is paid for. Technicians receive health insurance and optional contributions into a 401(k).
