Attend construction progress meetings (gain insight to construction management and project management). Participate in job walks and customer relation meetings (gain insight and knowledge of construction/project development, project estimating, and learn customer relationship building). Schedule workflow and construction task for projects (gain knowledge of project/construction task and workflow for project management) Develop and maintain project schedules (Timeline schedule development, learn management skills to schedule team members for various phases of work for projects/construction phases). Manage material ordering process ensuring materials have been ordered and track progress (understand ordering processes and Just In Time material ordering). Record keeping file management (observe and participate in file management and record keeping procedures). Track proposals and follow-up with customers (utilize Excel and other programs to track and follow-up unawarded proposals). Business accounting, construction project bookkeeping and financial tracking/P & L (Profit and Loss) monitoring (learn the process of financial tracking and business finance). Construction/project estimating (experience the steps needed to perform estimating for small and large projects). Onsite project management, service contracts (landscaping and janitorial contracts, understand the contractual requires and scopes of work to ensure requirements are being met). Onsite project management, construction projects (gain knowledge of onsite project management). Onsite skilled carpentry work (supervised and trained by DK & R employee). Onsite skilled low voltage sound and communications, data Comm, access Control, camera systems tech (supervised and trained by DK & R employee).
