The Member Care Assistant assists the OCF Operations team with data entry and analysis. The Member Care Assistant helps the staff with recurring, routine data entry that supports the care of members such as updating the OCF online Directory, updating changes of address, and other data entry requirements. The Member Care Assistant improves the accuracy and presentation of member information as recorded in the Officers’ Christian Fellowship member database and presented on the Directory, thereby improving engagements among OCF staff, volunteers, and members.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES. 1) Identify member records with poorly structured, insufficient, and/or outdated information. 2) Standardize the depiction of member information. 3) Contact members (via phone, email, and/or text message) to validate or update key information in member records. 4) Update member records as appropriate. 5) Develop and recommend techniques and procedures to improve long-term member database accuracy. 6) Create, refine, and deliver information and/or decision briefings related to database updates and management. 7) Complete work on other projects at the discretion of OCF leadership in support of member care. 8) Works closely with the Member Care Administrator, the Assistant Director of Field Operations, the Director of Field Operations, and other OCF Home Office staff.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS. The Member Care Assistant position requires experience with and understanding of data entry techniques and related technology. The Member Care Assistant must possess good interpersonal skills and be able to coordinate with OCF staff and volunteers focused on member data management. The Member Care Assistant must possess Biblical knowledge that is coupled with an understanding of how to apply the Scripture within a military culture.WORKING CONDITIONS. Work will be accomplished from the OCF Home Office in Colorado Springs. Remote work may also be appropriate. This position may require sitting for long periods of times. Requires reaching continually throughout the workday (i.e. mouse, keyboard). This position requires the regular use of phone and may require the use of stairs.
This position is predominantly administrative in focus but might involve calling some of the 15,000+ members of our organization, all whom have ties to or interest in the U.S. military. The training might involve a week in person at our national office in Colorado Springs. The job could be nearly entirely conducted remotely. Relocation is not required whatsoever.
