Primary Responsibilities:Installation Assistance:Assist the lead installer in the installation of kitchen fire suppression systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications, local building codes, and NFPA standards.Inspection Support:Conduct routine inspections of kitchen suppression systems, helping to identify any issues and catch up on past-due work orders.Maintenance and Repairs:Support the maintenance and repair of kitchen suppression systems, including exit and emergency lighting and portable fire extinguishers, as needed.Coverage for Absences:Help cover inspections in the event of technician call-offs, ensuring continued service without disruption.Shop Support:Occasionally assist in the shop with inventory or other tasks as required.Documentation:Assist in maintaining accurate records of inspections, tests, maintenance, and repairs performed.Training:As part of your role, you will be required to pass the Pre-Engineered and Fire Extinguisher state certification exams (training provided).Compliance:Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations governing kitchen fire suppression systems.
