Responsibilities: Double check job order info so the correct order is being processed o Read the job letter o Prepare packaging equipment (boxes, banding foil, etc.) o Make sure the correct punching tool is present and is sharpened o Check sample labels and GMG o Prepare the punching tool for production Quality Check o Double check the quality of the precut packs o Maintain a print-to-cut tolerance according to the set standard Contribute to the general order and tidiness Set up, fine tune and operate the Vision Punching Machine o Set up and fine tune the punching machine (manually, mechanical and electronically) o Ensure the good removal of waste by the central suction system o Problem solving in case of issues o Change banding foil and other required material Realization of the production process according to the specifications on the job letter and example label. o Fine tune the machine in order to meet the requested print to cut and sizing tolerance. Supporting activities o Inform the Team Coach of inefficiencies and potential continuous improvements Support technical department on technical issueso In case of recurring machine errors, assist the technical department in finding possible causes and solutions Solve machine errors Check tolerance of label sizes. o Using the measuring device, check the tolerances of label sizes o Store the measuring results o Adjust the machine settings to remain within tolerance Applying the requirements for ISO9001, ISO14001 and FDA taking into account the safety, health, environmental and hygiene requirements.Supporting activities: Support technical department on technical issues Solve machine errors Check tolerance of label sizes. Social interaction: Communicate any problems and/or questions with the Team Coach Communicate important quality information to the Team Coach Communicate important technical information to the colleagues to ensure a good shift handover Request information from the Team Coach regarding planned orders. Working in teams Communicate important technical information to the maintenance operator and assist where possible Specific handling requirements: Set up, fine tune and operate the Vision Punching Machine. Set up and fine tune punching tools. Operate a transporter pallet, operate interface of the punching machines central control unit. Registration of finished job orders in ERP Aggravating circumstances: Manually move products, loading and unloading of the machine. Working standing up during work hours Nuisance from noise, scents (inks, cleaning agents,..), dust (anti-set off powder)
Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.Due to BRC requirements, no personal belongings of any kind are allowed on production floor. This includes cell phones, jewelry, hats, etc.Uniforms are provided.Eye protection, hearing protection, and steel or composite toed shoes are required
