Role Outline and Candidate Attributes:A Handyman is generally responsible for electrical, mechanical, and plumbing related repairs. This candidate will be skilled in a wide range of areas, but they will also be able to recognize when a repair is outside of their skill set and make a recommendation to their supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for visiting premises, assessing work requirements, performing maintenance, and assisting professional tradespeople. The ideal candidate will be well-organized, experienced with using tools, possess excellent communication skills, and is a proficient problem-solver. *It should also be noted that while a Handyman with wide-ranging skills is preferred, candidates with specialized trade skill sets will also be considered and new positions may be created.

Handyman Duties and Requirements: Responsible for performing maintenance, repairs, and groundworkResponsible for troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and plumbing needsResponsible for the installation of various products and equipmentResponsible for basic painting needsResponsible for oversight of rehab projects and contractor workResponsible for assisting with final inspection and punch-list items on rehabbed propertiesResponsible for assisting material deliveries and coordinationResponsible for conducting routine inspections on rental propertiesCandidate has proven Handyman experience, has their own tools and transportation, and is a self-starter with good time-management skills
