Job DescriptionJob Summary: As part of the DOD SkillBridge Program, Cubic Defense offers a unique and dynamic opportunity for interns to gain valuable experience within a Business Development role, with a primary focus on supporting the U.S. Marine Corps. In this program, you will become an integral part of our team, collaborating on the delivery of cutting-edge Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities to the Marines.As an intern Business Development Associate, you will be actively involved in supporting our business development department while you prepare for your transition from military service. This position operates under close supervision and direction, allowing you to learn from seasoned professionals while contributing to vital business development efforts.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Conduct market research and assist in proposal preparation, pricing, and business analysis.Develop marketing and sales material, including presentations, product data sheets, graphics, and white papers.Aggregate bookings forecast estimates and prepare reports to track selling expenses and bid and proposal burn-rates.Manage and update product line SharePoint sites and Salesforce opportunities.Monitor government databases and media to evaluate and qualify new business opportunities.Compile comprehensive research on potential partners and competitors to support informed bid/no bid decisions.Minimum Job Requirements:Must be an active-duty service member or a member of the National Guard or Reserves within 180 days of separation date. Four-year college degree program in business or related field8 years of relevant or military experienceThe intern must be self-motivated, well-organized, and possess excellent writing skills.Possess a willingness to learn from others on the job.The internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge C4ISR technologies and the business development process.
