The position is responsible for maintaining and driving a comprehensive safety, environmental, and medical management program in a manufacturing environment. The position serves on and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, support company strategic initiatives, and drive continuous improvement.Objectives:-Create visibility on all levels of company regarding performance and initiatives through action trackers and KPIs.-Maintain regulatory compliance docs, processes, and procedures with safety procedures, regulatory audits, and reporting of environmental and waste disposal. -Coordinate medical management per occupational task or injury through processing of health testing, workers compensation claims and facilitation of incident investigations.-Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure effective EHS planning and strategic alignment through safety risk assessments, partnering with our emergency response team, and reviewing plant procedures for hazard identification and elimination/mitigation.
