These phases blend theoretical learning with practical experiences, allowing trainees to shadow experienced professionals, develop basic and advanced fiber optic skills, and apply safety training in real-world scenarios. The focus is on mastering fieldwork, emergency response, BICSI standards, and advanced installation techniques, all while progressing through OSHA 100 training.The final stage (Weeks 16-17) culminates in assessments and certification exams, including OSHA 100 and BICSI Installer. It also emphasizes career development planning. Throughout the program, continuous feedback and skill enhancement are encouraged through regular check-ins, safety audits, and reviews. This comprehensive approach ensures a well-rounded development of technical expertise, safety awareness, and practical problem-solving skills, preparing employees for advanced roles in the industry.

The job of the aerial and underground Fiber optic lineman is to set up lines and cables, including fiber, utilizing various construction tools. The Aerial Lineman will also be in charge of inspecting any violations of previously installed infrastructure and bringing them up to code.
