The Home Depot's IT Support Military Fellowship Program. SKILLBRIDGE FELLOWSHIP FOR ACTIVE DUTY SERVICE MEMBERS. The Home Depot, an employer of over 35,000 veterans and military spouses, is an authorized industry partner of the Department of Defense's SkillBridge program. The Home Depot is excited to offer transitioning Active Duty Service members on-the-job training from our Technology Support Team as an IT Support Technician. An IT Support Technician supports The Home Depot's IT Help Desk and is responsible for handling Tier 1 support calls, guiding callers through problem resolution with their computers and company issued equipment, managing open tickets, escalating when appropriate, and sharing insights and information to fellow team members. This on-the-job training will give Service members the opportunity to learn The Home Depot's technology systems, collaborate with seasoned IT professionals, and explore Technology career paths with our company. Fellowship will be conducted 100% virtually (work-from-home). Fellow will be provided with company-issued equipment, and will work MAX 40hr weekly schedule.
