    Summary description:
    BMW North America and Universal Technical Institute have teamed up to meet the growing demand for trained BMW Technicians. Training is conducted by BMW certified instructors. The 16-week program provides Factory BMW Training Credentials. Upon successful completion graduates will be awarded BMW Member Level Technician status.
    Job description:
    BMW Member Level Technician proficient in vehicle electrical system measurements. BMW diagnostic procedures and fundamentals. Isolating circuits for diagnosis. Chassis Technology ll - BMW brake systems, chassis/suspensions systems and service procedures as well as .Drivetrain Technology.
    Relevant personal or professional experience required.
    Eligibility factors:
    All Services
    Anticipate an 'Honorable' discharge; no flags, or personnel actions. Possess a High School credential; Diploma or GED. ASVAB line scores of: MM92+, or MM score of 87 and a GT score of 85 minimum. Drug free. Must be able to pass a drug test. A clean, insurable Motor Vehicle Record for all states licensed. Commander support letter; military member must provide letter from Commander dedicating the military member to training five days a week for 16 consecutive weeks. Able to endure prolonged standing, bending, and lift up to 75lbs. Mechanical/Electrical Acumen requirement: Complete the BMW placement assessment test. Clean criminal background and no gang affiliation (report will be pulled by BMW). Have the desire to be a team player and have excellent personal appearance with a positive professional attitude and very good interpersonal skills. Have an updated resume for the interview. Be willing and capable to accept employment at a BMW Dealership within 90 days of graduation or separation from the military. Be willing to relocate, if necessary, to accept employment for 1 year or more.
