Acquisition Consultant (AC), Policy Advisor, or Trainer. Pardus Acquisition Consultants (ACs) are full-time employees that work in multi-faceted teams to provide acquisition expertise to multiple Government customers. Our team concept consists of small Pardus pods that foster collaboration and comradery. As an AC you will be placed into a Pardus pod where you will have the autonomy to work independently yet, at the same time, have opportunities for on-the-job shadowing, mentoring; along with consistent back-up so that your acquisition efforts are provided optimal support. The AC team is co-located with our customers in order to provide hands-on facilitation of the source selection process. Each AC is responsible for assisting Government teams as they navigate the entire acquisition lifecycle. ACs provide guidance on acquisition planning, market research, Request for Proposal (RFP) development, and source selection. Acquisition teams rely on their AC to ensure they are meeting the latest acquisition policies and directives to include working within the bounds of the Federal Acquisition Regulation, NRO Acquisition Manual, and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation. ACs must be comfortable with leading and facilitating teams. ACs may be assigned up to 15 efforts at any time; therefore, successful time management and the ability to balance competing requirements are essential. ACs also must have excellent interpersonal communication and customer relationship skills.
