Job description:
HVACR Service Production Worker. This is an entry level position to service and maintain commercial and residential HVACR equipment. We provide 10 weeks of accelerated HVACR training 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week at no cost. Upon completion of the training, you will be dispatched to work to a mechanical contractor. You will have an opportunity to become an apprentice with Local Union #449 by taking apprentice examination and passing an interview.
Steamfitters Local 449 offers a 5 Year apprenticeship program for Mechanical Equipment Service, HVACR at no cost. You will work for a mechanical contractor during your apprentice training, earn while you learn.First year apprentices start at $20.00/hr. with health coverage, includes a 10% increase in pay each year. Journeyman earn $44.00/hr.
