Choctawhatchee Electric Cooperative CHELCO

CHELCO is a not-for-profit electric utility committed to supporting our military community. We are pleased to provide separating military personnel with an opportunity to intern and learn how to translate their skills into civilian terms. We have utility-specific and traditional support positions (e.g., accounting, information technology, human resources) for those interested in learning more about those positions in the civilian job market.

As a distribution electric utility, we have technical (e.g., line technician, information technology, electrical engineering, etc.) positions and traditional business (e.g., accounting, human resources, training, management, etc.) positions for which personnel can intern. Although an individual company, we are a member of a larger network of electric cooperatives located throughout the nation. We may not have a position available at the time of completion, but we are plugged into a network that might.
