The Engineering Technician will inspect, document, and analyze the electrical power system for commercial, institutional, and industrial facilities to determine appropriate designs considerations to meet the requirements of IEEE-Std 141 and NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) and 70E (Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace). The Engineering Technician may use power engineering software models, SKM and ETAP, to to preform load flow, short circuit, protective device coordination, and arc-flash analysis
