Job description:
This position is ideal for candidates looking to begin a career in cybersecurity and information security. The successful candidate will assist in protecting company systems, networks, and data from cyber threats while gaining hands-on experience in security operations, monitoring, and incident response. Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats or suspicious activity. Assist with vulnerability assessments and security audits. Support the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity policies and procedures. Help maintain endpoint protection, firewalls, antivirus software, and access controls. Respond to basic security incidents and escalate issues when necessary. Conduct routine system and network monitoring. Assist with user account management and password security. Maintain documentation related to cybersecurity processes and incidents. Support employee cybersecurity awareness and training initiatives. Stay informed on current cybersecurity trends, threats, and best practices.
