Perform preventative maintenance in accordance with agreements between Papé Material Handling and their customers.

• Perform preventative maintenance tasks on all makes of lift trucks, without supervision.• Perform lube quickly and efficiently within industry standard times.• Ability to perform tune-up and minor repairs on all makes of lift trucks, without supervision.• Analyze and diagnose (troubleshoot) potential equipment malfunctions or failures.• Perform assigned tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner.• Communicate in a courteous and effective manner with customers and/or co-workers.• Ability to complete and retain Levels 1-3 of hazardous waste generator training (California facilities).• Ensure chemical containers are properly labeled and spills contained, cleaned up and reported.• Have available all safety data sheets (SDS) for each chemical product used to perform service.• Must have the ability to operate in a constant state of alertness, and safe manner. • Communicate in a courteous and effective manner with customers and/or co-workers.• Maintain a good working relationship with all other departments.• Prepare required documentation accurately and timely, including work orders, parts lists and time cards.• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of equipment and product technology.• Read and interpret instruction manual and pertinent literature.• Maintain a safe working environment and observe all safety and hazardous waste generator laws, policies and rules.• Other duties may be assigned.
