CodeLynx Inc is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Product Owner for the North Charleston, South Carolina area with demonstrated ability to develop client visions into value maximized products. This individual will work closely with our development teams to support internal initiatives as well as our commercially available SaaS products. Experience in working on a project for the full Application Lifecycle, from vision to production release and maintenance, is highly desirable. As a client-facing role, great communication skills are required while living our company’s Service First culture with our customers. Though a security clearance is not needed for this position, applicants must be US Citizens and be able to pass a government background check. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Collaborate with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements Define the vision for the product and communicating it to the development team Create a product road map based on this vision Develop user stories Manage the product backlog and prioritize backlog items based on changing requirements Oversee all stages of product creation including design and development Monitor and evaluate product progress at each stage of the process Liaise with the product team and end-users to deliver updates Participate in and contribute to Scrum meetings WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM: At least one year experience as a product owner Working knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology Excellent oral and written communication skills Understanding of design quality standards and software development lifecycle Proficiency in the use of analytic tools Working knowledge of effective prioritization techniques Ability to work with teams that span multiple projects Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar relevant field required CSPO certification (Preferred)
