The Assembly Cell Technician SkillBridge Program provides transitioning service members with hands-on training and exposure to precision assembly and machining support practices within a regulated manufacturing environment. Participants will develop the knowledge and skills to build, disassemble, and repair rotor and stator assemblies, perform dimensional verification, and operate material handling and shop equipment in compliance with safety, quality, and FOD control standards. This program is designed to build foundational capabilities in mechanical assembly, component integration, and production support, with opportunities across multiple U.S. locations based on business needs.
Job description:
This position performs precision assembly, disassembly, repair, and modification of electromechanical components and subassemblies within a regulated defense manufacturing environment. High School graduate or its equivalent gained through training and/or experience. Minimum of three years of manufacturing/production/machining experience and related activities in the areas of processing and assembly manufacturing.
