The Fruit of the Loom, Inc. program is designed to provide transitioning military personnel internship experiences to business operations in our North American distribution centers. It's customized to the individual's interest and skillset they bring with them to allow for the most positive and optimum experience.

Maintenance TechnicianThis maintenance role is responsible for completing repair and maintenance to distribution center equipment and facilities. • Observe, dismantle, and examine mechanical device and parts to identify and locate issues.• Repair and/or remove defective parts to install replacement parts.• Test performance on distribution center equipment. Perform preventative maintenance as necessary. Lubricate and clean parts.• May require the use of hand tools, levels, straight edges, rulers, calipers, micrometers, lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools.• Initiate purchase order for part and machines.Qualifications• High School Diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in related field is a plus.• Basic knowledge of electronic equipment and testing devices.• Basic knowledge of environmental regulations.• Good hand-eye coordination.• Ability to read and interpret written instructions and repair manuals.• Ability to follow complex instructions and use precision instruments.
