The City of St. Peters Solid Waste Department is seeking a motivated refuse truck driver with ASL, Rear-Load, Front-Load, and Roll-Off truck experience. The starting pay range for post-service employment is $28.46-30.19 based on experience, with competitive salary growth beyond the starting pay through our market-based pay plan. Applicants must have at least a Class B CDL and recent experience operating solid waste collection equipment. We offer new trucks, Routeware-equipped routes, all automated collections, and benefits that are second to NONE. Job description:

Key Responsibilities:- Perform skilled labor tasks related to the collection and handling of various waste materials.- Operate heavy equipment, power tools, and motorized equipment with advanced skill.- Conduct minor repairs and servicing of equipment; report major maintenance issues.- Assist in training new employees on safety protocols, equipment use, and work methods.- Address customer and resident inquiries, concerns, and complaints with professionalism.- Assemble, clean, deliver, and repair solid waste collection cans.- Operate ASL, Rear-Loader, Front-Loader, Knuckle-Boom Loader, and Roll-Off Trucks with proficiency.
