The Bathroom Installer Assistant plays a key role in helping execute wet area remodels (showers, tubs, and walk-in tubs). You’ll be hands-on with a variety of tasks—from job site prep and demolition to framing, plumbing, and installing new fixtures. This is the perfect position for someone eager to learn the ins and outs of carpentry, plumbing, and general handyman tasks while building a rewarding career.Internship will take place both in the field, where you'll work alongside experienced Installers on real job sites, and at our training center in San Diego. You will be required to drive to the job sites, but don’t worry - we’ll reimburse you for mileage.At the end of the SkillBridge program, you could be offered a full-time position as an Installer Assistant, with a clear path to advancing to a full Installer role. As an Installer, you’ll have the potential to earn between $100,000 and $150,000 per year.

Job site prep: Supply runs, setting up tools/materials, and preparing for dust control and floor protection.Demolition: Removing existing wet areas.Hauling debris: Ensuring proper disposal of materials.Wet area remodels: Tasks like building walls, setting shower pans/tubs, installing glass, cutting panels, etc.Carpentry work: Framing and other related tasks.Plumbing work: Ensuring all systems are functional and up to code.Safety: Following safety protocols and using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.Other duties: Helping with additional tasks as needed.Schedule: Your schedule will be four 10-hour shifts per week. You’ll have two options for your schedule:Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (with Friday-Sunday off)Tuesday to Friday: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM (with Saturday-Monday off)Each shift runs from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.
The internship is available in San Diego and Orange County.
