The objective of our Skill Bridge program is to train the Service Member is all aspects of the Program Coordinator position, as well as overall on the Human Services field that supports individuals with developmental disabilities. Upon successful completion of the Skill Bridge program, the goal would be to hire the Service Member into this role, or a similarly situated one, with our company.Terms / Conditions - The Service Member must have a PA criminal background check, a physical exam with a negative TB test, and an FBI clearance that all meet our licensing criteriaThe SkillBridge program with our agency is designed to be a 6-month program of 1,000 hours of training. However, this can be shorted to 90 days and 500 hours based on the length of time available to the Service Member. The program is broken down into the follow areas with the estimated hours for each aspect of the position. 60 hours of instructor lead classroom (some on-line) general training on the human service field focused in the area of intellectual developmental disabilities; 260 hours of hands on training with the Director of Programming learning to write reports, compile data, and complete assessments; 240 hours of hands on training with the Director of Programming and other members of the department in facilitating team meetings; 240 hours of hands on training with the Director of Programming and the Operations Department training and instructing Support Staff to effectively work with the individuals being supported; 200 hours of participation in agency and internal committee meetings to learn the intricacies of our agency and the human services field. Adhering to the plan above will ensure the Skill Bridge participant learns and becomes proficient in all aspects of the Program Coordinator position. These training modules cover all aspects of the Pennsylvania licensing regulations for the Program Coordinator position, as well as will provide them with a comprehensive understanding of person-centered services.• The Human Services field focused in the area of intellectual developmental disabilitieso objective: complete all licensing requirements to work for a provider agency supporting individuals with intellectual developmental disabilities under the Office of Developmental Programs• Compile data, write reports, and complete assessmentso objective: become proficient in all licensing requirements specific to the Program Coordinator position• Facilitating team meetingso objective: to be comfortable leading a meeting of up to 10 people and reach resolution on outcomes• Training supporterso objective: to be comfortable instructing others on how to complete tasks and best support the individual(s)• Internal and External innerworkings within the IDD fieldo objective: to fully understand all aspects and processes which go into supporting individuals and how the organizations within the Human Services field interact and their responsibilities to the individual.All training modules and objectives will need completed with 90% accuracy, unless otherwise stated by the specific training requirements (such as by the MANDT instructor manual). This will be graded through competency testing and instructor/mentor evaluation.Skill Bridge Participant will be certified in CPR/First Aid, MANDT, and several Office of Developmental Program required training modules. They will have also received all training required by licensing to work for a provider in the IDD (Intellectual Developmental Disability) field in the state of Pennsylvania.

He is our Director of Training and a certified trainer in numerous skills required within the field, including but not limited to Mandt, Medication Administration, and CPR and First Aid.
