Job description:
You'll enroll in our Kubernetes Certification program, where you will learn basic Linux systems administration skills (including scripting) and methods to maximize efficiencies in integrating, installing, configuring, upgrading, and compiling software in various operating system environments. This internship will provide you with an understanding of the Linux operating system, as well as general knowledge regarding compute, network memory, storage system components, and containerization (e.g., Docker) technologies -- including how to manage and deploy a containerized application using Kubernetes. Additionally, our goal is for each participant to take and pass the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) exam (the training and exam are Praxis-paid).After completing the course, we pair you with an experienced Praxis engineer to apply your new skills to a real-world, mission-relevant problem.
Located at Praxis HQ in Annapolis Junction, MD -- which is next door to Fort Meade!

Applicants should:- Expect to physically come into the office (Annapolis Junction, MD) at least 50% of the time.- Have a basic understanding of the software development process.- Understand that in order to be eligible for a full-time job with Praxis (after SkillBridge ends), we require an active TS/SCI with appropriate polygraph.
