Museum Design and Exhibits Manager Arizona Copper Art Museum (ACAM) Reports To: ACAM Officers Position: Fulltime This position acts as museum design and exhibit manager for the Arizona Copper Art Museum (ACAM). Work closely with museum staff to plan and execute the conception, design, development, artifact restoration, installation of exhibits, and renovation of a historic building to support the museums mission and goals. Must have vision, drive, and creativity and be passionate and resilient to significant guest engagement. This individual serves as a museum representative in interactions with prospective host venues, prospective clients, and daily patrons. Position may require travel to meet with exhibit providers and experience featured exhibits, gift store product fabricators, museum acquisition providers, events, and retreat locations. Includes attendance at meetings inside and outside of the museum. The work environment is primarily museum enclosed and an annex with construction requirements.
Eligibility factors:
All Services
Have senior military instructor training - of senior Non-Commissioned and Commissioned Officers grades.Have served at least ten years in a Cavalry MOS with experience in ammunition types and calibers.Must know historical military artworks produced from metal, especially from WW1.A thorough understanding of copper and its alloys in all art appreciation and historical aspects.Have served as director, officer, or member on a museum, heritage conservancy, historical commission, or historical society board.
