Job description:
The Program Management Intern will work in, learn, and support the Program Management of awarded contract across the company’s Business Areas. This position ensures analytic performance of the staff to meet the mission needs while delivering on the corporate commitments. Candidate will collaborate with several Precise Systems business units to learn and execute daily duties of those units including HR, Finance, Contracts, Information Technology, and Operations.• Collaborates on all phases of projects from pursuit and capture through execution and contract completion. • Coordinates subordinate employee recruitment, selection, training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, professional development, and recognition/disciplinary actions. • Analyzes cost, schedule, technical and contract performance of company projects. • Participates in the negotiation of contracts and contract changes. • Coordinates the preparation of proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contract. • Provide primary customer contact for project activities, leading project review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, technical and contract performance. • Develops new business or expands the product line with the customer. • Establishes project budget and milestones, monitors adherence to budget and schedule. • Anticipates cost/schedule variances, risks and technical difficulties and develops effective corrections. • Directs the work of employees assigned to the project. • Manages the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods, and employees. • Execute wide application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. • Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems. May refer to established precedents and policies.• Works under general direction. Collaborates or independently determines & develops approach to solutions.
