Participants receive instruction on assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical piping systems that must withstand high pressure. Participants will also learn various welding techniques applicable to the Ship Repair & Shipbuilding industry.
Job description:
Maritime Trades (Welders, Pipelayers, Plumbers, Pipefitters, and Steamfitters)
Program graduates receive OSHA 10-hour Certification, VSRA NAVSEA Standard Items Certificate, VSRA Marine Trade Training (MTT) Pipefitting Level I Certification, Welding Level I Certification, and test for the American Welding Society (AWS) 2F & 3F Welding Certifications.
