The Welding Engineer SkillBridge program provides transitioning service members with technical training and exposure to welding engineering practices within a manufacturing environment. Participants will develop the knowledge and skills required to support welding operations, ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards, and contribute to resolving welding-related challenges. This program is designed to build foundational engineering capability in materials joining, process evaluation, and production support, with opportunities aligned across multiple U.S locations based on business needs.
The Welding Engineer supports manufacturing and engineering teams by ensuring welding processes meet applicable codes, standards, and product requirements. This role focuses on developing, qualifying, and maintaining welding procedures, analyzing welding processes and materials, and resolving technical challenges in production and repair environments.
