Pavion is a global provider of fire protection, security, and communications solutions. Participants will receive hands-on training in the inspection, testing, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of fire alarm systems while working alongside experienced field technicians. Ideal candidates have military, trade school, or technical backgrounds and an interest in developing a career in life safety and security technologies.

Basic Qualifications• High School Diploma or GED required• Trade school graduate, military experience, or equivalent technical training• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment• Mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to learn new systems and technologies• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record• Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds and work on ladders, lifts, and construction sites as needed• Strong verbal and written communication skills• Ability to work independently and as part of a teamPreferred Qualifications• Military experience in electronics, communications, networking, electrical maintenance, avionics, or related technical fields• Experience installing, servicing, inspecting, or troubleshooting fire alarm, security, access control, CCTV, low voltage, or communications systems• Trade school or vocational training in electronics, electrical systems, networking, or related technical disciplines• Knowledge of NFPA codes and fire alarm systems• NICET certification or willingness to pursue certification• Experience working directly with customers in a service environment• Experience reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, or construction drawings• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
