Barnett Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, PA - Setting Up Private Practice For Physicians

Skills-based training program with a focus on: transitioning licensing/credentials etc to the civilian market, creating and executing a business plan, the financial aspects of private practice, marketing, and staffing/human relations aspects of medical private practice.

Ideally, training will be 3 days per week for a period of 150-180 days. This will allow the military physician to maintain clinical skills in their specialty 2 days per week at their military treatment facility. Breakdown of the 24 week program (assuming three days per week):Week 1: Job Selection (exploring different types of practive, solo vs. group practice, etc)Weeks 2-4: Entrepeneurship Basics (setting up an LLC, business plan, etc)Weeks 5-8: Finance/AccountingWeeks 9-12: Marketing & Social MediaWeeks 13-16: HR/Staffing/Setting Up ClinicWeeks 17-20: Contracts & Managing Medical LiabilityWeeks 21-24: Clinical Transition and Technology/Medical Advances

Must have MD/DO degree, preferably surgical specialty
