The objective of the program is to provide on-the-job training in a civilian healthcare company to Service members who are healthcare administrators (Medical Service Corps officers or senior enlisted Health Services Managers) with experience in one or more of these areas: TRICARE Operations and Patient Administration, Medical Resource Management, Medical Information Systems, Medical Readiness (understanding of Knowledge, Skills & Abilities), Health Plans Management; and physicians or nurses interested in medical management; and those who have served in senior positions in a Military Treatment Facility. Our goal is to evaluate these Service Members to determine if there is a good fit for permanent employment after SkillBridge.

Health Net Federal Services is the TRICARE Managed Care Support Contractor for the Western half of the U.S. including Alaska and Hawaii. However, our workforce is remote and can work from anywhere in the U.S. Our company is committed to providing quality health care services and has the privilege of serving our active duty members, families and retirees enrolled in TRICARE.
