A The Distribution Management Division manages and coordinates FEMA' s supply program to assist in domestic incident management in accordance with the National Response Framework (NRF) by all modes of transportation; oversees the supply chain management of a large vehicle fleet program that supports assigned logistical programs by ensuring policy development, assets management and delivery of fleet services; and manages through Distribution Centers located throughout the Continental United States (CONUS) and outside the Continental United States(OCONUS).

Description: Power Support Systems Mechanic 5378This course provides an overview of Sunflower Asset Management System (SAMS). The data base is used to record, manage, and track all FEMA assets from acquisition to retirement disposition. The maintenance module is used to plan, schedule, and perform corrections on equipment ensuring the highest rate of readiness for disaster response. Terminal Learning Objectives: Assign meters to assets and record meter readings, create a work order, run the work order by status report.This course provides classroom instruction and introduction to industrial material handling equipment, safety, pre-inspection, and operations. Operator hours are evaluated against standard sit down forklifts 4k to 20k and stand-up reach 6k forklifts.
