Your role as a Business Development Manager is pivotal in identifying new business opportunities, fostering partnerships, and driving growth for the company within the defense sector. This comprehensive training plan is designed to equip you with the necessary skills, knowledge, and tools to excel in this dynamic and challenging role.

You will join OKSI as a business development professional. Your roles will include identifying new business opportunities, fostering new relationships, and driving growth for the company by way of government and b2b sales. Your day-to-day activities will include giving product briefings, demonstrating new products to customers, attending conferences, writing whitepapers, helping develop and test new company products, and finding research and development programs to solve capability gaps for the warfighter. Although the SkillBridge internship is a short period of time, OKSI will briefly cover all included topics vital to a true and successful business development professional. Some items will not be covered in great detail unless the intern transitions to a full time salaried employee. This training plan provides a structured approach to equip you with the essential skills and knowledge required to excel as a Business Development Manager in the defense industry. An intern may lean forward, study on own time, and work towards mastering these fundamentals, receiving in return what they put into their time in the program. OKSI provides the opportunity for the intern to learn, expand upon, and refine their expertise to ultimately set them up for a successful career in business development and/or the defense industry. At our company the intern will play a crucial role in driving OKSI's growth and success in developing and implementing intelligent systems and software for the warfighter.
