Job description:
Under the supervision of the Service Manager, the participant will receive structured training to develop skills in repairing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and rebuilding Caterpillar and allied equipment in both shop and field environments. Training includes diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, completing warranty documentation, performing welding, fabrication, plumbing, and DC electrical repairs, and reconditioning major components to manufacturer specifications. The participant must follow all safety and quality standards and demonstrate professionalism in interactions with customers and suppliers.
Compensation varies by role, experience level, certifications, and business unit.The listed salary range reflects the most common entry-to-mid level placements. Senior or specialized technical positions may be eligible for higher compensation based on qualifications and organizational needs.

Active-duty Service member eligible for SkillBridge -- High School Diploma or equivalent -- Mechanical aptitude and interest in hands-on technical work -- Ability to work in shop and/or field environments --Willingness to follow safety and operational procedures -- Valid driver’s license (requirements vary by role/location)
