Job description:
This position reports to the Outages Services Non-destructive examination (NDE) Supervisor. The candidate selected for this position shall have a working knowledge of applicable American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) code and the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) standards, with a minimum level of certification to Level II in 2 of the following methods Ultrasonic, Magnetic Particle, Liquid Penetrant, Eddy Current Testing or Visual Examination. This position requires planning, scheduling, and performing inspections (in the field), evaluating inspection results including preparation, setup of test equipment, and travel to each of the Southern Nuclear Operating sites and Industry events.
Lodging will be provided for participants who are not stationed within commutable distance
