Job description:
The Position – Marketing AssociateThe Marketing Associate will have the opportunity to join a growing organization and can have a key role in building out a Marketing Department over 2-3 companies under the Essex umbrella. An applicant will be expected to perform a variety of daily tasks which can include but are not limited to:• Creating marketing materials for email campaigns, newsletters, and mailers(postcards, flyers, quarterly reports);• Manage SEO for the company to track and grow social media platforms;• Write blogs and conceptualize unique content for social media and website;• Form and manage relationships with real estate journalists and advertising companies throughout the city;• Work with each team to create territory-based content for their clients;• Learn and manage Buildout platform to be able to train new Associates at the company;• Plan company events including happy hours, summer outings, charitable giving days, and holiday parties;• Utilize Photoshop for marketing books & broker needs.Qualities for SuccessThe ideal applicant will have a natural passion for marketing and entrepreneurship, as well as the desire to expand one’s knowledge in the real estate industry. Additionally, this person will be task and process oriented, exhibit a strong understanding of social media and SEO, and have creative capacity to think outside the box.
