COMMISSIONING ENGINEER has a technical background and in-depth expertise with the commissioning process including verification techniques, functional performance testing, critical power equipment and O&M knowledge. The role of the Commissioning Engineer is to act as a third-party authority systematically verifying that electrical nd mechanical systems are functioning in accordance with the design intent and Owner's Project Requirements (OPR). Some of the actions of the Engineer will include verification and testing during all 5 levels of commissioning, as per ASHRAE Guideline 0.
