Job description:
Perform maintenance on electrical systems, including replacing light bulbs, sockets, and circuit breaker panel cleaning/repairs.Maintain heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), and plumbing systems to ensure proper functionality.Troubleshoot and repair malfunctions in electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, including appliances, lighting, refrigeration systems, and other hotel equipment.Conduct manual repairs, such as door lock replacements, window fixture repairs, and general carpentry tasks.Execute general upkeep tasks, including landscaping, caulking, painting, and drywall repairs.Perform carpentry and painting projects as needed.Implement and conduct ongoing preventative maintenance programs for guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.Regularly inspect the property to identify potential and current maintenance needs.Work closely with the Housekeeping team to ensure all guest room equipment is functioning properly and addressed in the preventative maintenance program.Resolve maintenance problems, complaints, and work orders in a timely and professional manner.Be available for a flexible work schedule, including any shifts required to meet operational needs.Provide staffing coverage in the event of call-offs to ensure consistent operations.Adhere to company standards, conduct policies, and procedures.Follow the employee handbook for all rules and regulations.
