Job description:
Participants will receive hands-on training in marine electrical installations (Victron AC/DC systems), marine electronics & NMEA 2000, shaft and propeller service, diesel repower support, and related systems. Training includes safety, shop standards, and customer job completion under senior technician mentorship. Successful graduates are considered for full-time Marine Service Technician positions.
None. ESI charges the participant nothing. Military pay and benefits continue through the Service.
Eligibility factors:
Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, Marine Corps, Navy, Space Force
Must be within 180 days of separation and have command approval. Preference for candidates with electrical or mechanical experience.
