Job description:
The Metrology/Calibration Technician SkillBridge internship with Novo Nordisk, a global healthcare company and leader in diabetes care and biopharmaceutical manufacturing, provides hands-on training in the calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and documentation of critical production and laboratory instrumentation within a cGMP-regulated environment. Participants will develop the technical skills needed to ensure equipment accuracy, regulatory compliance, and reliable manufacturing operations while preparing for full-time employment as a Metrology/Calibration Technician with Novo Nordisk or another employer within the MOVE Boots to Biotech network.
Position is assigned to the Novo Nordisk Clayton, NC manufacturing site.

- Eligible for the Department of Defense SkillBridge Program.- Military command approval required.- Planning to transition from active-duty military service.- Willing to relocate to or commute to a Novo Nordisk North Carolina facility.- Interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing and technical careers.- Able to work in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment.- Meet applicable pre-employment screening, safety, and security requirements.- BioWork Certificate may be available for participants needing foundational training, with scholarships provided through the MOVE Boots to Biotech employer network when applicable.- Successful completion may lead to full-time employment with Novo Nordisk or another MOVE Boots to Biotech employer partner.
