Job description:
Assistant project managers provide necessary support for projects within an organization. Taking direct lead over various project aspects, assistant project managers work to help implement project goals as directed by the project managers. This role requires individuals to oversee project goals, create and deliver reports, analyze data from project execution, and any other duties as determined by project managers.
Avant Construction Group, founded in 1997, is a Jacksonville based company that built our reputation on the commitment to quality construction. We pride ourselves on performing most of the work on our projects, giving our customers better cost control and workmanship. Ongoing relationships with our customers, including several nationally well known companies, have been the backbone of our success over the years.Avant Construction Group initially focused on highly-detailed projects for the DDD, Navy, Marines and other local government agencies, which included NAS Jax, NAS Cecil Field, NAS Kings Bay and NAS Andros Island in the Bahamas. Over the years, the company began doing more public, private and commercial work. We grew our customer base by establishing relationships with many local and national clients in various industries, including restaurants, historic rehabilitation, auto dealerships and tenant build-outs of several national retail chains
